Recovery Day

I am just a little sore today in my quads and calves. So, I decided to try out my new DVD “Xtreme Calorie Burner! Indian to Girdwood. Virtual Indoor Cycling Training / Spinning Fitness and Weight Loss Videos” for 30 minutes. The entire workout is 1 hour 50 minutes but I just wanted to move my muscles for a bit to ease the soreness.

This is a really neat DVD because you get to see the actual scenery along the bike trail that follows Seward highway South of Anchorage towards the Girdwood ski resort. The display also shows you the recommended percent of max heart rate, distance, elevation, etc.

The only downside to the DVD is that the lighting was a bit dark – I guess it was a night ride.
