Training Plan # 2 – Deadlift Day

Week #5 started late because I wanted at least one day of rest after hiking.

My weight today was 121 lbs so 1.5 times my body weight (BW) is 181.5 lbs. I decided to do the Survival Challenge #5 which is maximum rep deadlifts at 1.5 BW. I rounded up to 185 lbs.

I was able to do 9 pretty good reps. The bar slipped out of my hand on the 10th reps so I decided to call it quits for the day. So, I lifted 1,665 lbs in just under 6 minutes.
